Citi Logik provides insight into the way people move on foot, in a vehicle or by train. We have developed new ways of identifying and analysing demand activity, which we apply to complex spatial challenges in the sectors of Transport, Intelligent Mobility, Smarter Cities, Retail & Advertising, and the Built Environment.

Formed in 2012, we are a British technology company established to develop insights and predictive analytics derived from mobile network data (MND) in compliance with data privacy laws.

We enhance anonymised raw mobile network data to enable organisations to identify trends with the flow of people across a variety of different transportation modes.

This provides our customers with valuable insights to help them make informed decisions about future planning and  

development.

Our senior team combines strategic, financial and technological expertise with in-depth knowledge of the use of big data for the transport and engineering sectors. 

Chris Bax Citi Logik team
Chris Bax

Chief Executive Officer

Chris became CEO of Citi Logik on April 1 2021, having previously been the firm's Director of Strategy & Partnerships.

 

Chris has nearly three decades of experience working in the intelligent mobility space, both in the UK and internationally. 

Prior to Citi Logik, he led and grew the ITS business of a large US corporation, responsible for their global strategy and senior customer relationships. 

He focuses on customer experience and business development, leveraging Citi Logik's unique insights from mobile network data in new markets and geographies.

Chief Innovation Officer

John Rands

John is a technologist with a strong innovation and engineering background delivering high volume and real-time information services for over 25 years.

 

He has spent his career developing high-volume, real-time information systems making use of the latest technologies to clients from a broad range of sectors.

 

Formerly CEO of Citi Logik, he previously co-founded WIN PLC, where he created the WIN technology information platform used by many mobile network operators, public utilities and retail banks.

Matthew Davison Citi Logik team

Finance Director

Matthew Davison

Matt has held senior finance roles within organisations spanning a number of industries including retail, financial services, engineering and construction.

 

His experience includes the delivery of high-profile transformation programmes within large corporates, as well as senior leadership roles within SMEs.

 

Matt's recent focus has been on supporting start-up and scale-up tech companies with the challenges of scaling operations and securing funding.

Technical Director

Philippe Perret

Philippe pioneered the use of mobile network data for transport planning purposes in the UK.

 

A qualified engineer, he has over 20 years' experience of transport modelling and data. He focuses on project delivery, quality assurance and R&D using mobile network data. 

 

Prior to working at Citi Logik, Philippe worked at AECOM for 14 years, where he project managed the development of large complex multi-modal models for traffic and economic analysis.

Mark Whitaker

Non-Executive Director

Mark is a senior commercial and operations professional, with extensive strategic, project leadership and contractual experience in both public and private sectors.

 

He worked with Transport for London teams to prepare them for the 2012 Olympic Games and developed best practices in war, terrorism and political violence methodologies for Lloyd's, the insurance market.

 

Earlier in his career, he spent 20 years in the British Army, in logistics, bomb disposal and technical project management roles.
