Data / Transport Analyst

​

We have an exciting position to fill in as an analyst.. This new role has a wide remit around supporting the analytics team with project delivery and R&D. This includes undertaking data analytics using tools such R, developing algorithms using Python and SQL and geospatial work using GIS, all under the supervision of a senior analyst. This role will provide opportunities to grow within the organisation and is a rare opportunity to use both transport planning and data analytics skills.

 

Expected knowledge:

• Understanding of transport planning through either academic course or commercial

• Understanding of programming using tools such as R, Python and SQL

 

Profile:

• Degree advantageous in a technically associated field

• Previous experience with programming languages and willing to learn new languages

• Flexible and willing to learn

• Team player

 

Line management:

• Reports to the Senior Analyst
