Citi Logik is a British technology company established in 2011 with funding from the UK Technology Strategy Board, to develop predictive analytics derived from anonymised mobile network data in compliance with UK data privacy laws and future EU regulations. Citi Logik comprises three divisions:
Idea for innovation: Using mobile devices and mobile networks to provide people and vehicle movement data to, from and within London’s major transport interchanges.
Facilitated workshop run by TSB/ICT KTN on behalf of Transport for London to identify ‘Use Cases’, and using Elephant & Castle as the reference for an innovative data set where people and vehicles are traceable through the Transport for London surface transport network.
Formal study (Turner & Townsend) completed for Transport for London, confirming the technical potential, benefits and value to the organisation of using mobile data for location analysis and tracking people and vehicles.
The founders are established as ‘Thought Leaders’ for the technology and analytical approach to Transport Planning and Operations Management, speaking regularly at industry events and Think Tanks.
Citi Logik receives a funding award from the Technology Strategy Board for the scoping and development of a Proof of Concept
Citi Logik becomes an Esri UK Partner.
Citi Logik is awarded, and successfully delivers a Proof of Concept pilot project for Transport for London, as part of the CoSy (Co-Operative Systems) trial. Citi Logik consultants engage in innovative ‘smart cities’ and IoT work for the public sector including Greater London Authority.
Citi Logik awarded data contract and analytics work for a key part of the UK motorway infrastructure, further contracts awarded for wider motorway, and surface Interchanges within M25.
Citi Logik awarded contract in support of Mott MacDonald and Arup to develop transport matrices for Wales.
